This class is a series of guided exercises that will increase your knowledge of your wheel, and how to make finite adjustments to get you spinning more productively!

Woolen Wonderland
Have you ever wanted to woollen spin, but just couldn't get the hang of it? Or were trepadacious to try, for fear of "ruining good wool"? During this class we will take a look at fibre prep and how relates to woollen spinning, learn how to make excellent rollags, and of course get spinning woollen yarns on our wheels.
Class duration: 6 hours (1 day)

Beginner Spinning on the Wheel
In this class we look at everything a beginner needs to know: how a spinning wheel works, how twist can be our friend or foe, different types of fibres and the preparations they can come in, and of course, learn how this all culminates into creating yarn with our hands!
class duration: 12 hours (2 days)

Beginner Drop Spindle Spinning
This class is nearly the same as beginner with a wheel, except we spin solely on a spindle!
Class duration: 9 hours (one intense day or 1.5 days)

Fabulous Fibre Blends and how to achieve them
Play with a variety of fibres, ranging from soft merino, silk, and cashmere to more coarse fibres such as Jacob, dorset and shetland. We will use hand cards, combs, hackles and drum carders.
This class can be taught as an overview class in in one day, or an in-depth class in 2 days.
